Hello, I'm SJ
Welcome, I am a qualified Counsellor, Supervisor and Artistic Creator. I therapeutically support adults and young people through art and being creative, and using sound for relaxation.
Elemental Roots provides a safe and welcoming environment to seek support in counselling, supervision and reflective practice, therapeutic classes, workshops and retreats, all with the aim of supporting mental health.
Additionally, I have further training and experience in working with children and GSRD therapy clients of diverse genders, sexualities, identities, relationships, lifestyles & practices, offering non-judgemental, and affirming support to everyone.

I didn't really know what I was expecting, but what I discovered was complete rest and relaxation. My mind switched off and I just melted into the floor. The gong SJ uses is amazing and creates space to fully present and chilled out!

I have been working with Sj for just under a year, they have supported me to take steps that I didn't think were possible, my confidence has really grown in this time. We did the sessions combining being creative and talking. This has helped me understand my inner world better for sure.

I needed connection to talk to others that wouldn't judge me. Sj and the others gave me a space to express how I fell about my gender in a creative way and this has helped me make sense of my feelings and just be me!
